Central Highlands

The mountainous Central Highlands, north of Ho Chi Minh City have a climate that is generally cooler compared to the rest of the country. Because of its cooler weather, Dalat (Đà Lạt) was a popular city for the French fleeing the heat of Saigon (Ho Chi Minh City).

Today, Dalat is the absolute Mecca for adrenaline-fueled activities, canyoning, zip lining, hiking, rappelling waterfalls, rock jumping and natural water slides it is every adrenaline junkie’s dream!

An adventurous day trip by with our real Easy Riders through the terraced hills countryside and nearby waterfalls such as Datanla Falls and or Elephant Falls are great experiences.

For those interested in tranquility and authentic Vietnam, ethnic population and untouched nature, pine forests, lakes and waterfalls, the Central Highlands are definitely worth a visit, with cities and places like Dalat, Buon Ma Thuot (famous for its coffee), Lak Lake (beautiful lake and ethnic people), Kontum and Pleiku (many ethnic people in the area).
