Day 1

Buon Ma Thuot – Lak Lake

Your driver will be ready at the airport of Buon Ma Thuot to drive you to your accommodation at Lak Lake. The trip will take around 1 hour and 15 minutes. On arrival it is time to check-in and enjoy a welcome dinner at this beautiful and peaceful location.

Day 2

Bim Bip Waterfall – Traditional Ethnic Dance

It’s a great location to get up early. Bicycles are available for those who like to paddle around the Lake area. It is also possible to explore the Lake by kayak and experience a great sun rise over the Lak Lake.

Breakfast will be served at the resort before we set off for an easy hike towards Bim Bip waterfall where we’ll enjoy a picnic lunch, traditionally wrapped in banana leaves. Have a refreshing swim at the natural pool at the waterfall before we head back to the resort to fresh-up.

Enjoy a traditional Gong music performance by local ethnic people while dinner is served at the resort.

Day 3

Yang Tao Ethnic Village

For those wanting to get up early, the bikes and kayaks are ready for you.

After breakfast we will take you into the countryside to visit Yang Tao Village, a traditional ethnic village at the Lake.

Enjoy the peaceful sceneries of the rice fields around and local people herding their buffaloes and cows.

Learn how traditional handmade pottery and visit coffee and cacao gardens before we head back to the resort to fresh-up and enjoy lunch before your driver will pick you up after breakfast to drive you to the airport of Buon Ma Thuot for your flight to your next destination or on ongoing travel towards Dalat.

Useful information

Especially for the north and central Vietnam;

In the period between November and April, the weather is variable, from sunny to cold and rainy. It is advisable during this period to bring some rain gear with some warmer clothes. In the period from April to November, it is good to pack a hat with a wide brim, sunscreen (at least SPF15) and a reliable insect repellent. A thin rain poncho is useful all year round.

The south of Vietnam is generally a lot warmer all year round, so warm clothing is not really necessary.

What do I need to know? 

During the period March to November it will good to pack your swimming gear, a towel, a wide-brimmed hat, sunscreen (at least SPF15), a reliable insect repellent, toiletries, a camera and lots of batteries. Warm clothing for the cooler months of November to March is advised. How much luggage can I take? Your vehicle has limited space so please keep your luggage to a maximum of 15kgs in a backpack or soft over-night bag and include a small day pack to hand carry for easy access to camera, sunscreen, water etc. Inhibitions can be left in the luggage storage rooms at your hotel with your other unwanted baggage.
