Experiencing the traditional cuisine of Hue is an indispensable experience when visiting Hue. With its original and distinctive taste, Hue food reflects the values of culture, history, traditional customs and art and has become an attractive trademark of Vietnamese culinary art.

17:30 Pick-up at your hotel from where we start walking towards the ‘foodie street’ to enjoy a special cake, called Banh Beo, Nam, Loc (water fern cake, steamed rice pancake with shrimp and rice dumpling cake), which are made of rice flour.

We then continue to Han Mac Tu Street along the Perfume river. Here you can enjoy clam dishes such as Com Hen or Bun Hen (mussel rice, mussel noodle), enjoy the nice atmosphere at the beautiful and peaceful river.

We wandering along Le Loi Street and cross the Trang Tien Bridge, where we visit the colorful Dong Ba market to try Bun Thit Nuong (Grilled pork vermicelli) or Bun Bo Hue (Hue beef noodle soup), where you can see a lot of ingredients used for local dishes and experience local life.

We continue our tour towards Thuong Tu- the Southeast Gate of the Imperial Citadel for Banh Khoai (Hue pancake). We continue walking to the night market, from where you can purchase some souvenirs such as sesame candies, conical hats, or even a traditional Ao Dai dress. On the way back, you can drink some local beer and enjoy the romance of the night.

21:00 We finish the tour in the center of Hue from where it is an easy and short walk back to your hotel.

Especially for the north and central Vietnam;

In the period between November and April, the weather is variable, from sunny to cold and rainy. It is advisable during this period to bring some rain gear with some warmer clothes. In the period from April to November, it is good to pack a hat with a wide brim, sunscreen (at least SPF15) and a reliable insect repellent. A thin rain poncho is useful all year round.

What do I need to know? 

During the period March to November it will good to pack your swimming gear, a
towel, a wide-brimmed hat, sunscreen (at least SPF15), a reliable insect
repellent, toiletries, a camera and lots of batteries. Warm clothing for the cooler
months of November to March are advised. How much luggage can I take? Your
vehicle has limited space so please keep your luggage to a maximum of 15kgs in
a backpack or soft over-night bag and include a small day pack to hand carry for
easy access to camera, sunscreen, water etc. Inhibitions can be left in the
luggage storage rooms at your hotel with your other unwanted baggage.
