Day 1:
Noi Bai Airport – Hanoi – Old Quarter Street Food Tour
Your driver will be ready at the airports arrival hall to bring you in a relaxed way to your accommodation in Hanoi’s Old Quarter.
Early evening your tour guide will meet you at your hotel to start your Food Tasting Tour through the most interesting streets of the 36 streets of the Old Quarter of Hanoi. He will give you a brief introduction about the route of the tour and about the places you will be visiting before we set off to explore Hanoi’s buzzling Old Quarter in the early evening.
The main purpose of our Hanoi, Old Quarter Street Food Tour, is of course to let you taste a big variety of typical, traditional and local Old Quarter dishes and to give you as much as first hand, local information about these dishes and life in general in Hanoi’s Old Quarter.
Day 2:
Hanoi City & Red River Delta Cycling Tour
Join us on this eco-friendly, exciting and fun journey through unknown parts of Hanoi and the Red River Delta. Experience Real Local Life while we cycle along beautiful tree-lined streets, passing some of the major city’s highlights and through narrow alleys and hidden backyards in areas that you cannot find in any Vietnamese Travel Guide.
You’ll be surprised how peaceful and quiet it is when we take you to the Red River Delta. It is a totally different world here with an abundance of vegetable gardens and banana plantations.
There is no better way to experience Hanoi!
Day 3:
Hanoi – Halong Bay – Lan Ha Bay
A warm welcome at the meeting point for the most popular Backpacker Halong Bay Cruise. We travel by bus and boat towards the cruise departure point while sightseeing around Cat Ba Island.
We board the cruise and start a long day of activities while cruising through picturesque Lan Ha Bay and Halong Bay. Enjoy breathtaking sceneries while passing a floating village where we provide you a great opportunity to experience real local life of the fishermen who spend their whole life on the water (good chance to take pictures) while the lunch is served.
We continue cruising further into the bay to take you to a quiet area where you can challenge yourself for boat jumping and swimming. Not only is that a bucket load of fun but great for exercise.
We cruise off to another side of the bay for our anchor place in the middle of nowhere to start our sunset party with BBQ dinner and the party is on!!!
We overnight on the cruise.
Day 4:
Lan Ha Bay – Halong Bay – Hanoi
You don’t need to leave the cruise until after lunch so lots of time to enjoy a slow morning, a morning swim or maybe a lazy lie in…
We will provide you a unique experience by doing kayaking around one of the most-quietest and nicest part of the bay. After your brunch we begin the trip back to hectic and busy Hanoi by boat and bus, you will arrive back at the meeting point at approximately 5pm.
Of course, we can offer transfers to other places if that is more convenient for your Vietnam trip, just let us know.

Useful information
Especially for the north and central Vietnam;
In the period between November and April, the weather is variable, from sunny to cold and rainy. It is advisable during this period to bring some rain gear with some warmer clothes. In the period from April to November, it is good to pack a hat with a wide brim, sunscreen (at least SPF15) and a reliable insect repellent. A thin rain poncho is useful all year round.
The south of Vietnam is generally a lot warmer all year round, so warm clothing is not really necessary.

What do I need to know?
During the period March to November it will good to pack your swimming gear, a towel, a wide-brimmed hat, sunscreen (at least SPF15), a reliable insect repellent, toiletries, a camera and lots of batteries. Warm clothing for the cooler months of November to March is advised. How much luggage can I take? Your vehicle has limited space so please keep your luggage to a maximum of 15kgs in a backpack or soft over-night bag and include a small day pack to hand carry for easy access to camera, sunscreen, water etc. Inhibitions can be left in the luggage storage rooms at your hotel with your other unwanted baggage.
