Lan Ha Bay is located in the South East of Ha Long Bay. The 300 or so karst islands and limestone share the same amazing scene as Halong Bay but with additional attraction of numerous white –sand beaches and more floating houses of local fishermen. Day 1:
HANOI – LAN HA BAY – KAYAKING BRIGHT & DARK CAVE – SWIMMING (L-D)
7:30 – 8:30 Tour guide will come to pick you up at suggested places around Old Quarter for Lan Ha Bay.
12:00 Arrive in Beo Harbor, transfer by tender to Sunlight Cruise and enjoy a welcome drink while receiving a cruise briefing, safety instructions before check-in to your cabin.
13:00 A special lunch in Vietnamese cuisine of fresh seafood and an assortment of appetizing favorites are served while we start cruising.
14:30 The cruise sails through Lan Ha Bay and completes its entry through Cua Van Area. The area is surrounded by extraordinary karst landscapes. Explore the area by kayaking through Dark & Bright caves.
16:30 Enjoy Swimming in a nearby area, you can join jumping or diving from the top of the boat into water.
18:00 Return to the cruise to enjoy a sunset party and cooking demonstration of fresh spring roll. Enjoy the complimentary sunset party on the sundeck with local wine and fresh fruits on the sundeck.
19:00 Dinner is served in the restaurant. Enjoy delicious local food prepared and served for you by our wonderful onboard catering staff.
20:00 Enjoy free time on your own with karaoke singing or try your luck with squid fishing…
Day 2:
LAN HA BAY – BIKING VIET HAI VILLAGE – CAT BA NATIONAL PARK – CAT BA
06:00 Waking up enjoying beautiful moments when a blazing sunrise breaks the clouds of the island on the bay (winter time does not have sunrises).
07:00 Your breakfast will be served in a quite part of the bay.
08:00 Start cycling (5km) to Viet Hai Village, which is a small village in the midst of jungles, surrounded by a high mountains range of Cat Ba National Park.
09:30 Riding back to the cruise to have a shower before checking out.
11:00 Lunch is served on boat, have good meal.
12:00 Disembark at Beo Harbor and transfer to your hotel. Free time to explore Cat Ba Town.
19:00 Dinner is served in the restaurant, overnight in hotel.
Day 3:
CAT BA NATIONAL PARK BY MOTORBIKE – TRUNG TRANG CAVE – HANOI
07:00 Your breakfast will be ready in the restaurant and we please prepare good shoes for trekking in the National Park & Trung Trang Cave.
08:00 Our local tour guide will take you to visit Cat Ba National Park by motorbike, which is a tourist attraction to millions of domestic and oversea visitors. To enjoy the beauty of the land- and seascapes.
10:00 Keep moving to visit Trung Trang Cave, which has an ecosystem in mysterious darkness, home to many species of creatures such as bats, birds, insects and reptiles. The lighting system is very limited to preserve the characteristics of the ecological environment in the cave.
11:15 Have lunch in the restaurant and check-out your hotel.
12:00 We depart for the return journey to Hanoi.
16:30 Back to Hanoi. Tour guide will drop you back at your hotel.

Useful information
Especially for the north and central Vietnam;
In the period between November and April, the weather is variable, from sunny to cold and rainy. It is advisable during this period to bring some rain gear with some warmer clothes. In the period from April to November, it is good to pack a hat with a wide brim, sunscreen (at least SPF15) and a reliable insect repellent. A thin rain poncho is useful all year round.
The south of Vietnam is generally a lot warmer all year round, so warm clothing is not really necessary.

What do I need to know?
During the period March to November it will good to pack your swimming gear, a towel, a wide-brimmed hat, sunscreen (at least SPF15), a reliable insect repellent, toiletries, a camera and lots of batteries. Warm clothing for the cooler months of November to March is advised. How much luggage can I take? Your vehicle has limited space so please keep your luggage to a maximum of 15kgs in a backpack or soft over-night bag and include a small day pack to hand carry for easy access to camera, sunscreen, water etc. Inhibitions can be left in the luggage storage rooms at your hotel with your other unwanted baggage.
