Explore My Son, Holy Land, a UNESCO Wold Heritage with it’s 8th century Cham Towers – Enjoy the views along the Thu Bon River and enjoy the wonderful countryside – Cruise along the river and pass Duy Hai fishing village, Tra Nhieu weaving village, Kim Bong carpentry village and Cam Thanh coconut jungle village – Enjoy lunch while you cruise along the Thu Bon River.
07:30 – 08:30 Your guide will pick you up at your hotel in Hoi An Old Town.
08:30 We leave Hoi An, crossing the Cua Dai bridge, with its spectacular views of the Hoi An river system, mountains and Cham islands. We arrive at the fishing village, which is lively active as the market traders sell their evenings catch, providing some great photo opportunities.
09:45 Arriving at My Son, this “Valley of Kings” as described by French historians was once the capital of the Chăm Pa Kingdom from the 4th to 15th century. We attend a traditional dance performance before we take you to explore the Cham ruins, which begins with a short ascent along a jungle bordered track. While you explore the area, your guide will explain the history of the religious site, which served as a burial place for the Cham monarchs centuries ago.
11:30 We drive back to Hoi An to board the boat and cruise through the Hoi An countryside along the picturesque Thu Bon river. You will have a lunch on the boat and see the beautiful views along the river.
14:00 The boat trip will finish at Nguyen Hoang dock in the old town. You will be free to explore the old town or return to your hotel by your own means.

Useful information
Especially for the north and central Vietnam;
In the period between November and April, the weather is variable, from sunny to cold and rainy. It is advisable during this period to bring some rain gear with some warmer clothes. In the period from April to November, it is good to pack a hat with a wide brim, sunscreen (at least SPF15) and a reliable insect repellent. A thin rain poncho is useful all year round.

What do I need to know?
During the period March to November it will good to pack your swimming gear, a
towel, a wide-brimmed hat, sunscreen (at least SPF15), a reliable insect
repellent, toiletries, a camera and lots of batteries. Warm clothing for the cooler
months of November to March are advised. How much luggage can I take? Your
vehicle has limited space so please keep your luggage to a maximum of 15kgs in
a backpack or soft over-night bag and include a small day pack to hand carry for
easy access to camera, sunscreen, water etc. Inhibitions can be left in the
luggage storage rooms at your hotel with your other unwanted baggage.
