Ho Chi Minh City (Saigon) Day Tour
On this wonderful Ho Chi Minh City, formerly known as Saigon, day tour we’ll take you to the best and most interesting places the city has to offer. We visit the War Remnants Museum, the Independence Palace, China Town, Thien Hai Pagoda, Binh Tay market, Notre Dame Cathedral and the Central Post Office.
Your guide will meet you at the lobby of your hotel to start todays Ho Chi Minh City (Saigon) Tour. We start off by visiting the War Remnants Museum, which was formerly known as the Museum of American War. We then take you to Thien Hau Pagoda, officially the Ba Thien Hau Pagoda, a Chinese-style temple of the Chinese Goddess of Sea. We continue our trip to China Town in Cholon District. Cholon is Vietnam’s largest Chinatown, where sprawling Binh Tay Market offers everything from fresh produce and seafood to fabric and lacquerware. Eateries and street food stalls selling Chinese-style noodles, roast pork, and salted duck eggs pack narrow lanes along with traditional herb stores.
After lunch, we visit Reunification Palace. This is one of the most important buildings in the city. The Independence Palace, also publicly known as the Reunification Convention Hall, is a landmark in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. It was designed by architect Ngô Viết Thụ and was the home and workplace of the President of the Republic of Vietnam. We continue our trip to visit Lacquer Fine Art Factory, the City Hall, the Post Office Center for the best examples of classical French colonial architecture in Saigon Then it’s time for Notre Dame Cathedral Basilica of Saigon, officially Cathedral Basilica of Our Lady of The Immaculate Conception. We finish our trip by taking you back to your hotel at around 5pm.
