Lan Ha Bay is located in the southeastern part of Halong Bay. Day 1:

Hanoi – Halong Bay – Lan Ha Bay 

07:45 – 08:30 | Those who book our transfer service will be collected from hotels around Hanoi Old Quarter to explore Halong Bay – Lan Ha Bay

11:30 – 12:00 | Arrive Tuan Chau Harbor

12:30 | Transferred to the main boat by tender about 30-45 minutes. Embark on the cruise.

Warmly welcome to Amanda Luxury Cruise! While enjoying a welcome drink, our cruise manager will deliver a cruise briefing and safety introduction. After that you will check in your cabin.

13:00 | Fabulous lunch is served while the cruise starts its sail into magnificent Ha Long Bay – an extension of HaLong Wonder which is much quieter and has fewer tourists. He will pass the famous Finger Islet, Candle Islet and thousands of uniquely shaped limestone towers and islands.

15:30 | Joining the kayaking & swimming experience to explore the Tra Bau area – the famous filming location for Kong Skull Island (King Kong) in Quang Ninh in 2018. 

17:00- 18:00 | Back to the cruise and relax on cruise. It’s time for Sunset in Lan Ha Bay.  There’s something magical about sunsets. It’s not only the colours but the feeling, the atmosphere, the temperature. The way you feel at a certain moment. Enjoy our “Sunset Party” and “HAPPY HOUR” – Buy 2 get 1 drink for free.

Cooking demonstration is an on board activity which helps passengers not only to sample fine cuisine but also learns more about Vietnamese culinary culture. Cruise Chef will show and guide you how to make Vietnamese traditional dishes such as Fried Spring Rolls and enjoy the food you make yourself.

19:00 | You enjoy a luxurious dinner on sundeck with a combination menu made from the freshest ingredients in a luxurious, sophisticated space with a blend of French neo-classical style. with traditional Asian features.

20:00 – 23:00 | After dinner, you will enjoy the peaceful view of the Bay at night on the deck. Guests can also participate in evening activities such as herbal foot bath (free), bamboo dance, ethnic fashion show “Heritage Footsteps” and enjoy drinks at Sky Bar (chargeable). , massage (chargeable) and admire the peaceful scenery of Ha Long Bay at night and participate in the squid fishing program at the boat.

Day 2:

Lan Ha Bay – Viet Hai Village – Cat Ba Island 

06:00 – 6:30 | Start your day with Tai Chi class on the sundeck. 

06:30 – 7:00 | In the morning have a light breakfast, while the cruise continues to pass amazing karst towers. Tea, coffee and light breakfast is served with fresh air and peaceful surroundings.

08:30 | Go cycling a short trip of 5km to Viet Hai village – a small village in the midst of the jungle, surrounded by the high mountain ranges of Cat Ba National Park. The area has become popular with foreign tourists, without attracting the mass tourism so that it is still very rustic. For those who are not fancy with cycling will be arranged by electric car.

12:00 | Return to the day tour cruise. You will be served lunch with a variety of dishes at the restaurant.

13:00 – 14:00 | Kayaking around Tai Quéo cave area, a tunnel cave, to a lake like “Dragon eye”.

14:00 – 15:30 | The cruise takes you to the pristine beach area- Ba Trai Dao beach. This is the most beautiful beach in Lan Ha Bay with nature’s amazing white sand, very quiet and few tourists. You are free to swim or participate in kayaking activities.

16:00 – 16:30 | Return to the Amanda Cruise. You will be watching the sunset fall on Lan Ha Bay, immersed in soothing or vibrant music, sipping a cocktail.

You will experience swimming in the four-season pool located at the bow of the ship on the second floor or enjoy the complimentary sauna service for customers on the 3-day 2-night program.

17:00- 18:00 | It’s sunset time in Lan Ha Bay. There is something magical about sunsets. Not just the color but also the feeling, the atmosphere, the temperature. The way you feel at a given moment. Enjoy “Sunset Party” and “HAPPY HOUR” – Buy 2 get 1 drink for free.

Lan Ha Bay – Halong Bay – Hanoi

07:15 | We will visit the Dark and Bright cave – famous for the pristine natural beauty and poetic, attractive seascape of Lan Ha Bay. Here you will take some photos of the romantic, lyrical local see-sights. This is also the best time for tourists to enjoy bamboo boats, which is an interesting activity to discover the truest beauty of the Limestone Mountains and the blue sky of Lan Ha Bay. 

09:30 | Back to the boat for check-out

09:45 | During the time well prepared lunch is served, the cruise slowly navigates emerald water and thousands of Karst Mountains towards the Harbor.

10:45 – 11:30 | The transfer boat will take you back to the waiting room lot 12 of Tuan Chau wharf. Arrive at Tuan Chau Marina.

Cycling to explore Tuan Chau island (applies to customers using the bus) after checking out. The trip ends.

Useful information

Especially for the north and central Vietnam;

In the period between November and April, the weather is variable, from sunny to cold and rainy. It is advisable during this period to bring some rain gear with some warmer clothes. In the period from April to November, it is good to pack a hat with a wide brim, sunscreen (at least SPF15) and a reliable insect repellent. A thin rain poncho is useful all year round.

The south of Vietnam is generally a lot warmer all year round, so warm clothing is not really necessary.

What do I need to know? 

During the period March to November it will good to pack your swimming gear, a towel, a wide-brimmed hat, sunscreen (at least SPF15), a reliable insect repellent, toiletries, a camera and lots of batteries. Warm clothing for the cooler months of November to March is advised. How much luggage can I take? Your vehicle has limited space so please keep your luggage to a maximum of 15kgs in a backpack or soft over-night bag and include a small day pack to hand carry for easy access to camera, sunscreen, water etc. Inhibitions can be left in the luggage storage rooms at your hotel with your other unwanted baggage.
