Your tour guide will pick you up from your hotel in the old quarter in Hanoi for the 3.5 hours drive to Halong Bay where you will board the Swan Cruise at Hon Gai for your 3 days & 2 nights cruise. Explore the fascinating and breathtaking peaceful view on this unique location as well as start cruising and enjoying our special lunch of Vietnamese Cuisine while the Swan Cruise slowly slides on the romantic waves of Bai Tu Long Bay.

Day 1:
HON GAI HARBOR – BAI TU LONG BAY – CONG DO – CAP LA ISLAND – TRA SAN
07.45 – 8:30: The Swan shutter bus will pick you up from your hotel and heading to northeast of Vietnam
12.30: Arrive at Swan office, transferred by tender to Swan Cruise.
12.45: Enjoy welcome drink, be briefing about safety on boat and activities included then check in cabin.
13.30: Delicious Vietnamese set menu while leisurely cruising to the core of Bai Tu Long Bay.
15.00: Arrive to kayaking area – that is Cap La Island. Enjoy kayaking through the karst and breathtaking nature, swimming and relaxing.
17.30: Get back to the boat and enjoys Sunset party while our cruise sailing to the overnight anchorage.
19.00: Sumptuous set-dinner onboard.
20.30: Free time for joining Games, you may also try your luck with squid fishing.

Day 2:
DISCOVER THE LIFE OF LOCAL PEOPLE- VUNG VIENG VILLAGE
06.30: New day with doing Tai Chi on the sundeck and enjoy the morning landscape of the bay.
07.00: Have breakfast in the open air. Coffee and tea is served free.
08.30: Transfer to the Day Boat (without cabins) and start cruising to contemplate the stunning beauty of Bai Tu Long Bay.
Attention: Because of the weather condition and tide level, the itinerary can be changed flexibly.
09.30: A day of fun and relaxation with more kayaking to discover Bai Tu Long Bay. (or swimming or visit Thay cave depending on the weather)
11.45: Back to the day boat for a delicious hot lunch at noontime while the cruise is moving to Vung Vieng floating fishing village.
14.00: You are on a rowing boat to explore Vung Vieng village and learn how pearls are grown.
16.30: Return to the main boat and enjoy sunset time with tea and fresh fruit. This time is regarded as “Happy Hour” – “buy two get one” while our cruise is sailing to the overnight anchorage.
19.00: Dinner will be served in the dining room
20.30: Free time for joining games, you may also try your luck with squid fishing. Overnight in Cong Do area, Bai Tu Long bay.
Day 3:
TRA SAN – THIEN CANH SON CAVE – HON GAI HARBOR
06.30: Starting your day with Tai Chi on the Sundeck.
07.00: Breakfast will be served in Western style and furthermore with Vietnamese traditional food
08.00: Explore the Thien Canh Son. Guide will explain the history of Ha Long Bay, Bai Tu Long Bay and this Cave, made by Mother Nature
09.30: Upon return to the boat you will have 30 minutes to freshen up and finish packing.
Please remove all of your belongings from your cabin, you may leave heavy luggage outside of the cabin (staff will transfer directly to the pier).
10.30: Vietnamese cooking demonstration on boat.
11.00: Enjoy a traditional Vietnamese lunch.
12.00: Disembark in Hon Gai pier
12.30: Farewell Halong Bay then returns to Hanoi
17.00: End of service.

Please let us know if you have specific eating restrictions, allergic for certain things or if you are vegetarian, we can take that into account during the trips.
Useful information
Especially for the north and central Vietnam;
In the period between November and April, the weather is variable, from sunny to cold and rainy. It is advisable during this period to bring some rain gear with some warmer clothes. In the period from April to November, it is good to pack a hat with a wide brim, sunscreen (at least SPF15) and a reliable insect repellent. A thin rain poncho is useful all year round.
The south of Vietnam is generally a lot warmer all year round, so warm clothing is not really necessary.

What do I need to know?
During the period March to November it will good to pack your swimming gear, a towel, a wide-brimmed hat, sunscreen (at least SPF15), a reliable insect repellent, toiletries, a camera and lots of batteries. Warm clothing for the cooler months of November to March is advised. How much luggage can I take? Your vehicle has limited space so please keep your luggage to a maximum of 15kgs in a backpack or soft over-night bag and include a small day pack to hand carry for easy access to camera, sunscreen, water etc. Inhibitions can be left in the luggage storage rooms at your hotel with your other unwanted baggage.
