We will pick you up from your hotel in the old quarter of Hanoi for the 2.5-hour drive before boarding La Paci Cruise for your 2 days & 1 night cruise. Explore the fascinating and breathtaking peaceful view on this unique location as well as start cruising and enjoying our special feast of Vietnamese Cuisine while the cruise slowly slides on the romantic waves of Halong Bay and Lan Ha Bay.

Day 1:


09:15 Pick up by our shuttle bus. Short break half way.

12:00 Arrive Got Ferry Terminal, transfer by tender to La Paci Cruise and enjoy welcome drinks, receive cruise briefing, safety instructions before checking into your cabin. Admire the magical landscape as we set sail towards Ha Long Bay. We pass Da Chong Islet, where you can see a lighthouse built by the French over 100 years ago.

13:00 A special Vietnamese lunch with fresh seafood and an assortment of appetizing favorites are served while sailing passed islets of Con Vit and Gia Luan.

16:00 The Cruise sails through Lan Ha Bay and completes its entry through Cua Van Area. The area is surrounding of extraordinary limestone karsts landscapes.

  • From October to May: Start your journey to explore Ba Trai Dao Beach, enjoy kayaking and/or swimming in the crystal clear waters of the Bay.
  • From June to September: We progress to Tra Bau area of Lan Ha Bay- a separate part of Halong Bay. This is a quiet tourist paradise in Vietnam, enjoy kayaking and/or enjoy swimming in the crystal clear waters of the Bay.

17:30 Back to La Paci Cruise, drop anchor for the overnight stay. Enjoy the complimentary sunset party on the sundeck with local wine and fresh fruits.

18:30 Join the cooking demonstration where we teach you how to make a Vietnamese specialty, spring rolls.

19:00 Dinner is served in the restaurant. Enjoy delicious local food prepared and served for you by our wonderful onboard staff.

21:30 Try your luck with squid fishing, relax at the bar or retire to your cabin. Internet is available. Overnight on the cruise.

Day 2:


06:00 Enjoy the sunrise and admire the never-ending miraculous scenery of the Bay. Practice an invigorating Tai Chi session on the sundeck.

07:30 Light breakfast with coffee and tea is served.

08:30 Visit Dark & Bright Cave, a true mysterious beauty in the middle of the World Heritage, by local rowing boats.

09:45 We return to the boat, relax before checking out

11:00 An early lunch is served on board

12:00 Disembark and shuttle bus to return to Hanoi

15:00 Arrive back at your hotel or stay

Useful information

Especially for the north and central Vietnam;

In the period between November and April, the weather is variable, from sunny to cold and rainy. It is advisable during this period to bring some rain gear with some warmer clothes. In the period from April to November, it is good to pack a hat with a wide brim, sunscreen (at least SPF15) and a reliable insect repellent. A thin rain poncho is useful all year round.

The south of Vietnam is generally a lot warmer all year round, so warm clothing is not really necessary.

What do I need to know? 

During the period March to November it will good to pack your swimming gear, a towel, a wide-brimmed hat, sunscreen (at least SPF15), a reliable insect repellent, toiletries, a camera and lots of batteries. Warm clothing for the cooler months of November to March is advised. How much luggage can I take? Your vehicle has limited space so please keep your luggage to a maximum of 15kgs in a backpack or soft over-night bag and include a small day pack to hand carry for easy access to camera, sunscreen, water etc. Inhibitions can be left in the luggage storage rooms at your hotel with your other unwanted baggage.
