Day 1:

HALONG BAY – LAN HA BAY – BA TRAI DAO BEACH – KAYAKING – FISHING

08:00 – 08:30 Our guide will meet you at your hotel in the Old Quarter for the transfer to Tuan Chau harbor. On the way we take a short break.

12:00 Arrive at the terminal to take the tender to Camellia Cruise and enjoy a welcome drinks, receive a short cruise briefing and safety instructions before checking into your cabin. We set sail through Ha Long Bay while having time to admire the magical landscape that goes by. We cruise passing Da Chong Islet, where you can see a lighthouse built by the French over 100 years ago.

13:00 A special Vietnamese cuisine lunch of fresh seafood and an assortment of appetizing favorites are served while sailing through Islets named Con Vit and Gia Luan. These amazing limestone karst formations rise up out of the sea in an impressive manner.

16:00 The Cruise sails through Lan Ha Bay and completes its entry through Cua Van Area. The area is surrounding with extraordinary limestone karsts landscapes. You can start your journey to explore Ba Trai Dao Beach, enjoy kayaking and/or enjoy swimming in the crystal clear waters of the Bay.

17:30 Back to Camellia Cruise where we drop anchor at our overnight stay. Enjoy the complimentary sunset drinks on the sundeck with local wine and fresh fruits.

19:00 Dinner is served in the restaurant. Enjoy delicious local food prepared and served for you by our wonderful onboard catering staff.

21:30 Retire to your cabin or join the fishing excursion or have a drink at the bar. Internet access is available. Overnight on the cruise.

Day 2:

TAI CHI – DARK & BRIGHT CAVE – ROWING BOAT – HALONG BAY – HANOI

06:00 Enjoy the sunrise and admire the never-ending miraculous scenery of the Bay. Practice an invigorating Tai Chi session on the sundeck.

07:30 Light breakfast, coffee and tea are served

08:30 Visit Dark & Bright Cave and islets by local rowing boats, which is a wild and mysterious beauty in the middle of the World Heritage

09:45 Back to the cruise, relax before checking out

10:30 Join our cooking class demonstration (teaching you how to make our Vietnamese specialty, spring rolls) on the cruise.

11:00 Lunch is served on board

12:00 Disembark at the Ferry Terminal by tender. Take our shuttle bus to return to Hanoi.

16:00 – 16:30 Arrive back at your hotel or stay in the Old Quarter.

Please let us know if you have specific eating restrictions, allergic for certain things or if you are vegetarian, we can take that into account during the trips.

Useful information

Especially for the north and central Vietnam;

In the period between November and April, the weather is variable, from sunny to cold and rainy. It is advisable during this period to bring some rain gear with some warmer clothes. In the period from April to November, it is good to pack a hat with a wide brim, sunscreen (at least SPF15) and a reliable insect repellent. A thin rain poncho is useful all year round.

The south of Vietnam is generally a lot warmer all year round, so warm clothing is not really necessary.

What do I need to know? 

During the period March to November it will good to pack your swimming gear, a towel, a wide-brimmed hat, sunscreen (at least SPF15), a reliable insect repellent, toiletries, a camera and lots of batteries. Warm clothing for the cooler months of November to March is advised. How much luggage can I take? Your vehicle has limited space so please keep your luggage to a maximum of 15kgs in a backpack or soft over-night bag and include a small day pack to hand carry for easy access to camera, sunscreen, water etc. Inhibitions can be left in the luggage storage rooms at your hotel with your other unwanted baggage.
