Day 1:

Hanoi – Halong Bay – Lan Ha Bay 

Pick-up according to voucher time at your accommodation in Old Quarter.

11:30 – 12:00 | Arrive Tuan Chau Harbor

12:45 – 13:00 | Transferred to the main boat by tender about 30-45 minutes. Embark on 5Star Amanda Luxury Cruise.

Warmly welcome to 5Star Amanda Luxury Cruise! While enjoying a welcome drink, our cruise manager will deliver a cruise briefing and safety introduction. After that you will check in your cabin.

13:00 | Fabulous lunch is served while the cruise starts its sail into magnificent Lan Ha Bay – an extension of Ha Long Wonder which is much quieter and has fewer tourists. He will pass the famous Finger Islet, Candle Islet and thousands of uniquely shaped limestone towers and islands.

15:30 | Joining the kayaking & swimming experience to explore the Tra Bau area – the famous filming location for Kong Skull Island (King Kong) in Quang Ninh in 2018.  

17:00 – 18:00 | Back to the cruise and relax on cruise. It’s time for Sunset in Lan Ha Bay. There’s something magical about sunsets. It’s not only the colors but the feeling, the atmosphere, the temperature. The way you feel at a certain moment. Enjoy our “Sunset Party” and “HAPPY HOUR”.

Cooking Demonstration is an on board activity which helps passengers not only to sample fine cuisine but also learns more about Vietnamese culinary culture. The Cruise Chef will show and guide you how to make Vietnamese traditional dishes such as Fried Spring Rolls and enjoy the food you make yourself.

19:00 | You enjoy a luxurious dinner on SUNDECK with a combination menu made from the freshest ingredients in a luxurious, sophisticated space with a blend of French neo-classical style. with traditional Asian features.

21:00 – 23:00 | After dinner, you will enjoy the peaceful view of the Bay at night on the deck. Guests can also participate in evening activities such as herbal foot bath (free), bamboo dance, ethnic fashion show “Heritage Footsteps” and enjoy drinks at Sky Bar (chargeable). , massage (chargeable) and admire the peaceful scenery of Ha Long Bay at night and participate in the squid fishing program at the boat.

Day 2:

Lan Ha Bay – Halong Bay – Hanoi 

06:15 | A perfect time to re-energize and enjoy the tranquil beauty of the bay with a Taichi class on the sundeck. If you want to catch the sunrise, wake up between 5:30 – 6:00 depending on the season, with staff assistance.

06:30 – 07:00 | Enjoy a light breakfast with tea, coffee, and pastries while the cruise heads to the next excursion.

07:15 | Transfer by tender to Gia Luan Port and then by car (20 minutes) to Quan Y Cave.

08:00 | Quan Y Cave is a unique site that serves both as a historical relic and a powerful reminder of a heroic wartime era. Built inside a limestone mountain, the cave once functioned as a secret field hospital during the resistance war against the Americans. It was fully equipped with treatment rooms, a recovery area, and even a cinema for wounded soldiers.

09:00 | Return to the cruise

09:30 | Check-out procedure

09:45 | Guests enjoy a buffet-style early lunch at the restaurant on the second deck and settle any additional charges if incurred.

10:45 – 11:30 | The transfer boat will take guests back to Waiting House No. 12, Tuan Chau Marina.

15:00 – 16:00 | Arrive at your hotel in Hanoi Old Quarter, end of unforgettable trip.

Useful information

Especially for the north and central Vietnam;

In the period between November and April, the weather is variable, from sunny to cold and rainy. It is advisable during this period to bring some rain gear with some warmer clothes. In the period from April to November, it is good to pack a hat with a wide brim, sunscreen (at least SPF15) and a reliable insect repellent. A thin rain poncho is useful all year round.

The south of Vietnam is generally a lot warmer all year round, so warm clothing is not really necessary.

What do I need to know? 

During the period March to November it will good to pack your swimming gear, a towel, a wide-brimmed hat, sunscreen (at least SPF15), a reliable insect repellent, toiletries, a camera and lots of batteries. Warm clothing for the cooler months of November to March is advised. How much luggage can I take? Your vehicle has limited space so please keep your luggage to a maximum of 15kgs in a backpack or soft over-night bag and include a small day pack to hand carry for easy access to camera, sunscreen, water etc. Inhibitions can be left in the luggage storage rooms at your hotel with your other unwanted baggage.
