We will pick you up from your hotel in the old quarter of Hanoi for the 3.5-hour drive to Halong Bay where you will board Le Journey Cruise in Halong Bay for your 2 days and 1-night cruise. Explore the fascinating and breathtaking peaceful view on this unique location as well as start cruising and enjoying our special feast of Vietnamese Cuisine while the cruise slowly slides on the romantic waves of Halong Bay. Relax on the sundeck or take part in our activities like kayaking, swimming, visiting Sung Sot cave and Ti Top Island. You will feel home through the good service in hospitality.

Day 1:

Halong Bay – Sung Sot Cave – TiTop Island – Swimming – Cooking Demonstration – Squid Fishing 

Your guide and driver will pick you up at your hotel in Hanoi Old Quarter for the 3.5-hour drive through the Red River Delta country side to Tuan Chau Harbor where you can enjoy a welcome drink at the Cruise Lounge before we transfer to Le Journey Cruise.

Welcome drink – receive cruise briefing, safety instructions and check in. Start cruising and explore Halong Bay – one of the New Seven Wonders of Nature.

Enjoy lunch with Vietnamese dishes served while cruising through the bay and passing the most beautiful and quiet areas, such as Incense Burner, Dog Stone Islet, Fighting Cock, Soi Sim beach and Coconut Three Island.

We will visit Sung Sot cave, the most impressive cave in Halong Bay and from there we’ll take you to beautiful Ti Top Island with a nice sandy beach for swimming (if the weather permits), Ti Top Beach is especially famous for its fresh atmosphere, clean water, and smooth white sand that creates a great ambiance for guests to relax. You can take on the challenge to climb the steep steps to the top for an amazing panoramic view of Halong Bay.

We return to the boat for some free time while sailing to the overnight area where we anchor for the night.

On the sundeck we will show you how to make traditional Vietnamese spring rolls and you can enjoy Happy Hour (buy one drink – get one free). A perfect time to watch the magnificent sunset over Halong Bay.

Dinner will be served with traditional Vietnamese dishes, fish and squid.

Enjoy a relaxed evening on board and try your luck at squid fishing from the boat. Overnight will be on board.

Day 2:

Kayaking at Luan Cave – Cruising – Hanoi 

Breakfast is served from 7am while the cruise sets of to the Natural Preservation. Area.

08.00 – 09.30 We’ll take the kayaks out to discover the area around Luon Cave. Back at the cruise it’s time to check-out and settle the bill. Your luggage can be stored safely.

We’ll enjoy an early lunch while cruising back to Tuan Chau Wharf. Relaxing on the sundeck or in the dining room and enjoying the bay scenery while we cruise back to the harbor where we disembark and say goodbye to the crew.

12.00 – 15.30 We return to Hanoi by mini-van – we’ll make a sanitary, refreshment stop half-way for about 30 minutes.

Back in Hanoi we will droop you off at your hotel in the Old Quarter where the trip ends.

NOTE: Cruise itinerary and schedule are subject to change due to weather, tide levels and operating conditions. Swimming or kayaking excursions may be cancelled due to poor weather.

What do I need to know? 

During the period March to November it will good to pack your swimming gear, a towel, a wide-brimmed hat, sunscreen (at least SPF15), a reliable insect repellent, toiletries, a camera and lots of batteries. Warm clothing for the cooler months of November to March is advised. How much luggage can I take? Your vehicle has limited space so please keep your luggage to a maximum of 15kgs in a backpack or soft over-night bag and include a small day pack to hand carry for easy access to camera, sunscreen, water etc. Inhibitions can be left in the luggage storage rooms at your hotel with your other unwanted baggage.
