Itinerary Details Day 1: Hanoi – Ba Be Lake
After an early breakfast your tour guide will pick you up from your hotel at 7am in the old quarter in Hanoi for this unforgettable Northern Vietnam journey.
We start our journey from Hanoi towards Ba Be National Park.
On the way we stop at Duom temple, the place where Tay people worship their leader.
Lunch will be at a local restaurant in Cho Ra town.
Arrive at Buoc Lom Wharf, embark the boat for a trip along the Nang River to Ba Be Lake, one of 20 biggest fresh lakes on the mountain in the world. On the way we stop at Puong cave, which is famous for its thousands of bats.
At Ba Be Lake (three lakes), we visit the An Ma Temple to learn more about the religions and beliefs in Vietnam.
Time for some free time to enjoy the beautiful scenery before we take a short hike (of course with luggage) to our homestay (1km) in Pac Ngoi village, a small village of Tay people. The homestay is located at the most elevated location to give you the best views of the lake.
