Trek through a beautiful area of primary forest, with abundant bird life, inside the stunning Nam Ha National Protected Area.
Destinations: Luang Namtha
Duration: 1 Day
Begin your trek near the Tai Lue village of Ban Sin Oudom, about an hour drive from Luang Namtha. Cross the river to enter the Nam Ha National Protected Area. Your trek will pass natural curiosities such as stone stairs with a waterfall running down them. Your guide will show you the way to your private picnic site and prepare lunch. Meanwhile it won’t take you long to find out why we call this the bird trail. The birds will serenade you all along the way.
After lunch you will continue your trek through the wilderness of the jungle. Walk up and down the hills until you reach the Nam Tha river again. Here you can have a refreshing swim before the tuk tuk brings you back to Luang Namtha.
