Itinerary Details Day 1: Hanoi – Ba Be Lake (230km) (bamboo rafting)
Your tour guide will pick you up at around 6.45-7am from your hotel in the old quarter in Hanoi for this unforgettable journey to Ba Be National Park.
12am: Lunch in a local restaurant in Cho Ra town
2.30pm: Arrival at Buoc Lom Wharf, embark the boat for a trip along the Nang River to Ba Be Lake, one of 20 biggest fresh lakes on the mountain in the world.
3pm: Stop at Puong cave, which is famous for it’s thousands of bats.
4pm: Arrive at Ba Be Lake (three lakes). We visit the An Ma Temple to learn more about the religions and beliefs in Vietnam.
5pm: We then enjoy bamboo rafting and a swim in the fresh water near the Ba Goa Islet.
6pm: We hike to our homestay (1km) in Pac Ngoi village, a small village of Tay people to check in to enjoy some truly breathtaking views.
7pm: Dinner is served and a traditional Tay musical performance can be attended (excluded). You can share the show with other tourists.
9pm: We overnight in a Tay traditional house-on-stilt.
